Signature has announced the launch of the Signature Learning Hub. The exciting online Signature Learning Hub provides essential teacher training in delivering Signature Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in British Sign Language.

Signature’s BSL presenter Simon Herdman, who is well known for his presenting on the popular CBBC show, Magic Hands, said, “It is great to be involved in such an innovative and engaging resource. It is clear working with Signature that they are passionate about providing the support and training that British Sign Language teachers are looking for.

“I feel the online training is something fun and interesting that teachers will be able to enjoy and get all the information they need. As it is online it offers all teachers the opportunity to undertake training at a time and place that suits them.”

Signature wants all teachers to have access to training. Through feedback from teachers and centres it was found that face to face training isn’t always convenient. Many teachers are unable to attend Signature training days due to time and expenses and so Signature has produced an online product that teachers can have access to the training at any time.

Lindsay Foster, Chief Operating Officer at Signature said, “The launch sees a new way for us to support and connect with our teachers, giving them the perfect way to receive high quality training that can be accessed 7 days a week.

“The team of specialist BSL consultants and Signature staff have worked hard to create the Learning Hub meeting teacher’s needs. And we look forward to developing the platform further introducing other qualification teacher training and continuous personal development opportunities.”

The Signature Learning Hub is available to view now at www.signaturelearninghub.co.uk.
